In this study, we explore the effective way of socializing a teleoperated robot to provide customer service. In particular, we address the question of how a tele-operated robot communicates through an operator, and what effects it would have on people's perception and behavior towards it. We launched a remote-controlled robot in the FME bar that delivers brochures and information. With data collection, the strengths and weaknesses of different forms of telepresence for a teleoperated robot will be discussed and the appropriate form for various applications will be recommended.
