If you already hold a degree and consider graduate school an option, then pursuing a PhD degree at IRI might be the choice.

Topics:
- Simultaneous Localization and Mapping.
- Planning under uncertainty.
- Object Recognition.
- Structure from Motion.
- Mobile robot navigation.
- Color invariance.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in computer or electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer sciene, mathematics, or related fields. She/he should have a good background in control systems theory, linear algebra, and algorithms, as well as excellent programming skills in C, C++, and Matlab. A good English level is required. Additional knowledge of Catalan and/or Spanish will be helpful, but not mandatory.
