My research interests focus on perception and action under uncertainty with applications to robotics. Specifically expertise are mobile robotics (UAV and UGV), perception, SLAM, autonomous navigation and computer vision.
During my PhD I have contributed to: with range Image registration of 3D point cloud, terrain classification and path planning topics; and I have worked in SLAM and computer vision calibration strategies.

Some examples of my research:
6D SLAM using 3D laser range finder data.
The obtained 3D laser range finder map using 6D SLAM was used for a camera network calibration.
