How to arrive at ECMR13 venue from Airport

ECMR13 will be held at "Residència d'Investigadors", located in downtown Barcelona (Hospital Street, 64) - pinpointed with a red tack in the map below -. Apart from going by taxi, you have these options to arrive at ECMR13 venue coming from Barcelona Airport:

• > Aerobus + Metro: "Aerobus" is a special bus service that connects both airport terminals to different places in Barcelona downtown for about 6 euros. Choose Aerobus Line 1 if your flight has landed in Terminal 1, and Aerobus line A2 if you are in Terminal 2. These buses leave every 5 minutes and take approximately 35 minutes to arrive at Barcelona downtown. Both lines stop at "Pl.Catalunya". From this point, you can take Metro Line 3 (Green Line) to "Liceu" metro stop (pinpointed with a green marker in the map). Aerobus tickets are not valid for metro services. You will need to also buy a subway ticket. More information in the official webpage of this service.


• > Suburban railway + Metro: There is a suburban railway service (called "Rodalies de Catalunya") that leaves every 30 minutes from airport Terminal 2 to Barcelona city. If your flight has landed in Terminal 1 you can go to Terminal 2 by taking a free shuttle bus that connects both terminals. The suburban railway line from airport Terminal 2 to Barcelona is the line "R2 Nord" (the only line that reaches the Airport). A 25 minute ride takes you to "Barcelona-Passeig de Gràcia" station. This stop is pinpointed with a pink marker in the map below. Once there, you must change to Metro Line 3 (Green Line) to arrive at "Liceu" metro stop (pinpointed with a green marker in the map). The same ticket is valid for suburban railway and metro services.
