This book was so far ahead of its time that it did not get the credit that it deserved. The numerical methods and the approaches taken in this text were brilliant in both their prescience and logic. This book was truly a scholarly endeavor, probably a lifetime in the making. I would encourage any aspiring or practicing engineer to obtain a copy of this book and study it thoroughly. Every page is brilliant.
